How do shortcuts get displayed in menu items? The most obvious way is:
^A
^a
a
A
@a (@ = window close gadget character, meaning ALT)
@A
@^A
However, `^A' is very often used to mean just CTRL-a, not SHFT-CTRL-a.
^?A (? = some other character, meaning SHIFT)
^A
A
?A
@A (@ = window close gadget character, meaning ALT)
@?A
@^A
(or ^?a, etc)
